DESPITE losing hundreds of millions of dollars over the past few years, both from non-Marvel movie bombs, and the loss of thousands of subscribers plus the cratering of its stock, new CEO Bob Iger is promising to double-down on the losing formula:
"One of the core values of our storytelling is inclusion and acceptance and tolerance, and we can’t lose that,” Iger said, according to the NYT.
“We’re not going to make everyone happy all the time, and we’re not going to try to … We’re certainly not going to lessen our core values in order to make everyone happy all the time.”

I had no idea losing money was a core idea. As in over a billion and a half dollars in the last year alone.
No one wants Disney to sex up their movies, be it gay or straight. But it's getting harder and harder to pretend that their films aren't merely "inclusive" but rather a series of obviously sexualized propaganda lectures. Grooming and pushing a dubious set of morals is never going to be a winning formula for a company that makes children's films.
As such the money will continue to drain away from Disney will Iger back at the helm. Expect him gone by the summer of '23 and hopefully a change back to making kids films for kids.
