Video was released yesterday of a rehearsal take and his initial meeting w/cops. Unsurprisingly, he comes off as a cunt worried only about his own hide.... And there's this still frame which clearly shows Fatty Baldwin practicing the take minutes before he fired with his finger on the trigger. Fatty swore that he never had his finger no the trigger:

And as mentioned here right from the start, Fatty Baldwin pulled the trigger, at least according to the FBI:
" Accidental discharge testing determined that the firearm used in the shooting — a .45 Colt (.45 Long Colt) caliber F.lli Pietta single-action revolver — could not have fired without the trigger being pulled, the FBI report shows.
With the hammer in the quarter- and half-cock positions, the gun “could not be made to fire without a pull of the trigger,” the report stated.
With the hammer fully cocked, the gun “could not be made to fire without a pull of the trigger while the working internal components were intact and functional,” the report stated." ---------------------------------------
Does this mean Fatty will ever see jail time? No, almost certainly not - the power of celebrity is vast in this culture.
But it's a lot more likely that he losses a civil trial, should he not settle out of court.

He hasn't even been charged with reckless discharge of a firearm much less neg hom.
Even more illuminating is the fact that no one's been charged - 'cause if you charge one of them, they're going to (obviously) testify that it was Baldwin's own negligence that caused the gun to go off and/or that he went cheap on gun safety from the start.
Neither one will be allowed, so despite rumors this month of charges being brought "soon" I remain skeptical that anyone - especially Fatty Baldwin - will ever spend a day behind bars.
It's been almost a year since he blew her away - what in God's name do the cops need, a written confession?

Supposedly weren't filming b/c is was a rehearsal.
Of course, most rehearsals - even on small shows - are recorded. And no gun would be loaded for a rehearsal, especially one not being recorded.
So someone ain't telling the truth.
The person who could best answer these questions is dead and buried. The next best a fat ass-hat who has a long history of violence and threats against people... and pulled the trigger on a loaded gun (despite claiming he didn't).
Oopsy!
In any event, a typical felony case would have been wrapped by now. The fact that there hasn't been a single person charged is slow walking at it's most magnificent.

Nothing says "total innocence" like deleting your twitter account immediately after shooting a woman then delaying the police with their investigation into exactly how it happened.
Smart money still says no serious charge will be brought, if any. After all, more than a year has already gone by on what should have been a slam dunk case from the start.

New Mexico prosecutors will charge Baldwin and armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed with two federal counts of involuntary manslaughter over the death of Hutchins on the "Rust" film set in October 2021, when a real bullet was loaded into a prop gun. Assistant director David Halls, who handed Baldwin the loaded gun, accepted a misdemeanor charge in a plea deal. Baldwin and Gutierrez-Reed will both be charged "in the alternative," meaning the jury will decide which of the two charges -- involuntary manslaughter or involuntary manslaughter in the commission of a lawful act -- they are or are not guilty of. Both felony charges hold a maximum prison sentence of 18 months and a fine of up to $5,000. Arrested? If the prosecutor is a democrat, he'll be awarded a public safety trophy. One def gets a "save ass" vibe from the director. He knows it's in his best interest to protect Baldwin and the production company. Doesn't mean that he's lying, but a large grain of salt should probably be taken with any statement he - or anyone else connected in a major way to the company - gives. And that's because someone's head will roll, just not Baldwin's - and everyone knows it.
And Swami-Vincent is once again right:

I'm guessing the "special" prosecutors were assigned when it became apparent that the regular prosecutors - you know, the ones you or I would have in similar circumstances - made it clear they were going ahead with the case.
And that my friends would. Not. Do. No, not at all.
This of course does little to erode the notion that this country is now firmly two-tiered when it comes to the law, and plenty to erode whatever remained of the public's confidence in our legal system.
