"A suicide bombing terror attack outside Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, Afghanistan, has left at least 13 people killed, including children, and wounded three U.S. troops on Thursday, according to reports. A second blast has been reported near the city’s Baron Hotel. The total casualty count is unclear."
At least 4 US Marines now confirmed dead.
It's also being reported that hostages have been taken, and that the Germans have already pulled out.
Thanks to the ill-planned pull out by US troops, the Taliban is now better armed than 166 countries on Earth; some $85 billion worth.
Untold thousands of Americans remain stranded outside the airport, with apparently no contingency plan to pull them out.

This is without question the worst military disaster in US History, in slow motion.
This makes Hanoi looks like the Battle of the Bulge.

Death toll for US soldiers now stands at 12, the worst single day loss of life in the war in over 10 years. The spin has been mighty, with CBS News saying, "Biden warned about the danger, which is why he wanted to pull soldiers out," a gleeful ignoring of virtually every fact to do with this ever spiraling disaster. We have yet to see mass hostages, sure to come, or truly coordinated attacks by the extreme lovers of peace. In other words, it's going to get worse in the next 2 weeks, not better. No better way to morn 9/11 then to remind that the people in charge then are basically still in charge now. Calls for Biden's impeachment will be ignored by legacy media for obvious reasons, yet it's hard to forget that Trump was impeached for making a phone call inquiring about Biden's now confirmed strong arming of a prosecutor, and another impeachment for giving a speech where Trump called for peace. Naturally, there won't be so much a peek from dems on the subject now, which oddly enough people might remember in the 2022 mid-terms. Barack Obama said it right he said, "Don't underestimate Joe's ability to fuck things up."
And Barry O knows more than most about fucking up.

Hey, speaking of fuckin up (or worse): "The US gave the names of our Afghan allies to the Taliban. U.S. officials in Kabul gave the Taliban a list of names of American citizens, green card holders and Afghan allies to grant entry into the militant-controlled outer perimeter of the city's airport, a choice that's prompted outrage behind the scenes from lawmakers and military officials. The move, detailed to POLITICO by three U.S. and congressional officials, was designed to expedite the evacuation of tens of thousands of people from Afghanistan as chaos erupted in Afghanistan's capital city last week after the Taliban seized control of the country. It also came as the Biden administration has been relying on the Taliban for security outside the airport. But the decision to provide specific names to the Taliban, which has a history of brutally murdering Afghans who collaborated with the U.S. and other coalition forces during the conflict, has angered lawmakers and military officials. "Basically, they just put all those Afghans on a kill list," said one defense official, who like others spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive topic. "It's just appalling and shocking and makes you feel unclean." --------------------------------------------------- So the Taliban would let them through at the airport. Or round them up and behead them. Either/or! Either way, they're not our problem any more! Bet those folks are willing to trade their lives for lack of mean tweets. Meanwhile, another explosion has just gone off at the airport. www.politico.com/news/2021/08/26/us-officials-provided-taliban-with-names-of-americans-afghan-allies-to-evacuate-506957

Death toll now at 13, with 40+ badly injured. Biden gave a disastrous press conference today, looking more frail and lost than ever. He threatened to pay back the terrorists in what may have been the most unintentionally hilarious threat ever uttered. Some how, I'm guessing people willing to blow themselves up are not shaking in their boots. Their brand new, paid for by you and me, boots. Beyond meaningless threats, Biden managed again to blame Trump in this his 4th press conference on the disaster. But on the positive side, he didn't wander away from the podium (although he looked like he was about to several times). As his poll numbers crash to zero as the bungling and death continue (they're already down to 16%), the in-fighting in Washington will be mighty. Luckily for America, Joe choice for veep - the wildly popular Kamala Harris is waiting in the wings.... ...Make that Vietnam, where she was sent on a doing nothing tour to try and hide her. Sadly she managed to bungle even that as she laid down flowers and US flags at site where John McCain was shot down, claiming it was a monument to him. Oddly enough, it was in fact a memorial celebrating his shooting down. Which of course is logical, given he was an enemy combatant of the Vietnamese at the time. Something you'd hope the person one heart beat away from being commander in chief would realize (esp after being told what the true nature of the monument was and doing it anyway). www.rt.com/usa/533078-mccain-harris-memorial-vietnam-confusion/

An interesting question posed by Buck Throckmorton of Ace of Spades....
"If Gen. Milley Were A Traitor, What Would He Have Done Differently?
General Mark Milley is the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the highest ranking military officer in the United States. As the debacle of the US withdrawal from Afghanistan now morphs into a hostage crisis for the Americans left behind, it’s fair for those of us who love our country and support our troops to ask this question: If General Mark Milley were a traitor to our country, what – if anything – would he have done differently?
The most famous traitor in American history was Benedict Arnold. His treasonous act during the Revolutionary War was his attempted surrender of the military fort at West Point to the British. Fortunately, his efforts were not successful. By contrast, General Milley ensured that Bagram Air Force Base fell into enemy hands by simply abandoning it in the middle of the night, without even handing it over to our putative Afghan allies, and while thousands of Americans were still in Kabul.
He then moved evacuation efforts to a poorly secured commercial airport not designed for military use. Milley was passionate about Bagram’s closing although he could never articulate why it must be closed.
While testifying to Congress in June he stated, “So, a couple of quick comments here. On Bagram, it’s not necessary tactically, operationally, for what we’re gonna try to do here with Afghanistan. Consolidate on Kabul, with, in support of their government.” That was simply not true. Bagram was critically needed both tactically and operationally, even more so because everyone knew the Afghan government would fall sooner or later - most likely sooner. Yet General Milley desperately wanted us not to have Bagram when we needed it most. You know what Benedict Arnold didn’t do? He didn’t give billions of dollars of military equipment to the British. But that is exactly what Gen. Milley gave to the Taliban. He handed the Taliban over 64,000 Humvees and other vehicles, plus almost 500,000 guns! If an enlisted man loses his gun while on patrol, the men in his platoon might have to risk their lives to go find that one gun so it doesn’t end up in enemy hands. Yet the arsenal below is what General Milley chose not to remove from theater, allowing it instead to become property of the Taliban.
Gen. Milley is leading the charge on Critical Race Theory, pushing the troops to explore the idea that the United States is an illegitimate country, plagued with systemic racism and “white rage.” He seemingly wants white troops to confess their racism and profess shame for their skin color while teaching minority troops that they are all victims, and that their fellow white troops are actually their oppressors. Yeah, that’ll further the esprit de corps necessary for the troops to fight as one unit. Fortunately, the troops are much better Americans than General Milley is. Despite his efforts to divide and demoralize our troops, they remain unified and they are the pride of US citizens."
